Spring Update

Why did you make the decision that you've made and what do you hope to learn from this upcoming experience? What are your final thoughts before departing for your internship? What are you excited about? Are you nervous at all? Are there any last details that you need to confirm?
With the Covid-19 outbreak I decided to change my internship to a graphic design company. Staying at home has given me a lot more time to do art and work on things and I want to be able to work on this and explore more things. I hope to become more comftorble with other mediums I don't use as much. Im exited to make a lasting project I can look back on when I first started learning about graphic design. I am exited to market my artwork and be able to show it to more people.

Where are you in the internship confirmation process? What have you done so far and what next steps are you planning on taking? Who have you talked to already about your internship ideas and what have the outcomes been?
Currently I almost officially have my internship at Peak Rejuvenation. I hope to have an interview with my mentor in the next week or two. We are in contact about when would be best. I have been talking with Janae and my mentor, and am exited to be working with an esthetician.

Fall Update

What are your thoughts on doing an internship? What fields are currently intriguing to you? What are you looking forward to and what concerns do you have? What have you done already to work towards exploring your interests? What's next in your career exploration and/or internship search?
I am exited to try different career fields and see what interests me more so I know what I want to pursue later. Currently I am thinking of either Photography or being and Esthetition. I am looking forward to see what the everyday reality of an actual career is and how to work in a professional environment for further experience. I am concerned to have to accomplish some harder task that I might not be able to do. I have been exploring possible areas to intern at like Art Studios and Spas in Durango. I need to begin to contact mentors soon to place one.
